Hi

In our use case I want to build the approval process in sales pipeline where if deal is marked as closed won there are certain properties that has to be mandatorily filled by deal owner.

While marking it to close won, one of the propery need to be reviewed by department head and approve or reject. Is there a way to implement?

Hi [@AJ\_Kakrot](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/724085),

HubSpot has a deal approval feature, yes, but it’s limited to Sales Hub Enterprise: [Require approvals for deals](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/pipeline-approvals)

When approval would be requested, an approver could fill the properties they’re supposed to, then approve the deal.

If you’re on a Professional subscription, this is not an option and you’d have to restrict editing access to the closed won stage entirely: [Set up and manage object pipelines](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/object-settings/set-up-and-customize-your-deal-pipelines-and-deal-stages#restrict-editing-access-for-specific-deal-stages)

When a deal is moved into the stage before closed won, the deal owner would tag an approver in a note on the deal, for example (via the @ sign), then the approver would move the deal across the finish line while updating the required fields:
