Deal and Company Associations

I am wondering if anyone knows a way to configure HubSpot to associate child company deal with the child’s parent company by default?

I know HubSpot does not currently support automatic associations through workflows (hoping this changes soon) but I am wondering of there is some way to make this happen through some system configuration or setting.

The purpose for this is to be abe to report the value of all deals for each child company and then also be able to have those deals roll up into a report where I can see the total value of the parent company (comprised of the values of it’s children’s companies).

Workflow associations are possible: Create and manage CRM record associations with workflows

However, the product team has paused enrollments into this beta. Still, you can check whether you can request it in the product updates section of your portal.

Once accessible, you would have to make sure that the records you’d like to associate share at least one single-line text property with the same value (which might require assisting workflows). Once they do, the new workflow actions can establish the associations :slightly_smiling_face:
