I woould like to have a Deal Age (already created several minths ago) property but for both type of Deals: 1. Active and 2. Closed (lost or won).
The thing is, for Closed lost, I can choose such a filter as calculation in the Deal property - between Create Date and Closed date - we are good here.
What is the workaround for having 1 or 2 Deal Age properties for (Active and Closed) deals?
There is no way to have one property Deal age for both Active and Closed deals. What about at least two properties? I do not see any workaround for now because there is no condition button for the since option.
Have you considered simply conditionally displaying one of these two properties on the deal record?
I’m not aware of a way to consolidate both properties into one unless you’re open to use a custom code action (in Operations Hub Professional or Enterprise).
Two properties, conditionally displayed depending on whether it’s an active or closed deal, seems to be the easiest solution to me.
@karstenkoehler, thanks for your advice. The thing is, it should be visible in a list view format for Deals—in that case, the logic above will not work. But if someone would like to go one by one, and based on whether a deal is closed or active, the relevant Deal age field will pop up—yes.
