My last account was deactivated. Was hoping my old certifications from [emmyesmith7@gmail.com](mailto:emmyesmith7@gmail.com) could be transferred to the current account with that email, thanks. There was a content marketing and social media marketing 2 course.

Hi @esmith51,

Certifications are tied to your email address, not a specific HubSpot portal, see here: [Transfer Academy certifications to another email address](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/help-and-resources/transfer-certifications-to-another-email-address)

I’m not sure what exactly happened on your end, but you can of course try to recover the old account by submitting the form at the end of this page: [Recover your inactive HubSpot account](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account-management/recover-your-inactive-hubspot-account) – as I said however, this would be about recovering the account, not the certifications.

Overall, since you’re mentioning “old certifications”, you could use this as an opportunity to retake them. They will have a new certification date, will not expire so soon and it might be a good exercise 🙂

Best regards
