Hello everyone!
We have some very exciting news to share with you.
Weâve been working behind the scenes and can finally reveal it: the HubSpot Community is moving to a new space that is faster, cleaner, and more modern.
The Community will continue to function as you know it: a place where you can quickly get expert advice, solve problems, share ideas, or simply gain new knowledge.
Our launch is scheduled for mid-June 2026. Subscribe to this post to follow upcoming updates and keep an eye on the banner within the Community as the date approaches.
What you need to know
A short read-only period
A few days before launch, the Community will switch to read-only mode: you will still be able to search and read content, but you wonât be able to post messages, reply to threads, or access your account during this time.
We currently plan to put the Community in read-only mode from the end of the day on June 9 (EOD PT) until June 15, 2026. On June 15, forums may be completely inaccessible for a few hours before the new Community is deployed.
If you need help during this period, our other support options remain fully available:
- The support bot in your HubSpot account
- The HubSpot Knowledge Base
- The HubSpot Academy
Cleanup of inactive accounts
If you havenât logged in during the past 12 months (or more) and havenât generated any content (no posts, replies, or ideas), your account will not be migrated. Of course, you can create a new one at any time if you wish to return.
If you have already contributed to the Community, your account will be migrated automatically without any action required from you!
Important: we will not migrate private messages, so we recommend that you separately back up any direct messages (DMs) you wish to keep.
Your data
A slightly formal (but important) note: as part of this transition, your Community profile, posts, replies, ideas, and other contributions will be transferred to the new space. Your information will be transferred via a secure process, and you will continue to be able to use HubSpotâs single sign-on (SSO) for authentication. Please refer to the HubSpot Website Terms of Use and the HubSpot Privacy Policy for more information on data processing.
If you prefer that your account not be migrated, you can opt out via the Community Migration Exclusion Form (select âCommunity Migrationâ). Please submit your request before May 20 so we have time to process it.
What will improve: a preview
Read any post in your language automatically: Posts will be automatically translated so you can browse and contribute to the entire global Community. Our regional spaces (Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, and German) will be organized into dedicated categories and will continue to offer news and discussions tailored to your region.
A refreshed badge system: Badges will reward actions that truly matter. Additionally, visual icons and titles next to usernames and on profiles will make it easy to identify each memberâs role, authority, and reputation.
A text editor that is also faster and cleaner: The new editor works perfectly on mobile, with a minimalist toolbar and full support for rich formatting.
Easier-to-follow conversations: Replies will appear in chronological order, and a new scrollbar with a timeline on the right side will make navigating long threads easier. Want to reply to a specific point? A handy quoting feature will allow you to include exactly the excerpt youâre responding to, keeping exchanges clear and structured.
Highlighted tags (labels): Tags are getting a fresh look and will now appear at the top of each post, allowing you to see the threadâs topic at a glance.
A more targeted HUG experience: We are consolidating our HUG (HubSpot User Groups) spaces on our new events platform. HUGs in Japan, Admin, and San Diego will retain a separate space here on the Community, but if youâd like to connect with HubSpot users and participate in events in your region or area of interest, visit HubSpot Events.
