Question - New user to Hubspot. Super user of Dynamics CRM and Saleforce, but I can’t find this function in Hubspot. I want to be able to de-activate a contact, but just label de-activated. It seems that Hubspot only allows me to delete it. Does this function not exist? Or do I have to create my own column for this? Someone please help.

HubSpot doesn’t have a general deactivation feature. This depends on what exactly you’d like to achieve by deactivating a contact?
If you don’t want this contact to count towards your billable contacts anymore, you would use the marketing contact status for this.
If you would like to prevent this contact from ever receiving communication again, you could unsubscribe them.
If you want your own label for contacts that marks them as active/inactive, you would create a custom dropdown property for this. You can then place it in the left contact sidebar for easy access.
