When working with integrations or detailed reporting or where conversions could happen in the space of a day, I need to know when things are happening down to the second if possible.

I know Hubspot is capturing the time because the time of the property change is being recorded, but the actual value of the property is not being recorded down to the time, only the date.

I need this so I don’t have to have several workflows creating a workaround and so I don’t have to keep guessing when something was done.

It’s pretty easy to create a date time field in HubSpot. Just use the Create a Property API, and set the type to datetime.

Yes please! We have several instances where we need custom Timestamp fields that HubSpot does not provide, and have been seriously lacking in our reporting abilities since we transferred to HubSpot from our previous CRM because of little things like this. Would love to see this feature implemented.

@hubspot please make this a priority. This should be standard.

Depending on your use case, such as copying datetime properties from existing HubSpot properties, you can use the API to create datetime properties that store timestamps in milliseconds since the epoch. It is somewhat surprising that the API offers more options than the UI, but I’ll leave it to HubSpot to explain themselves 😉
