Data token for internal E-mail messages

I just realized that somehow the former feature to include data tokens within the content of a internal E-mail message isn`t available any longer. We are using these internal messages to inform our colleagues about certain status updates. The tokens were quite handy as the recipients could click on the token (for instance a deal) and get redirected to the corresponding object. Any ideas on how to solve this now as this feature has apparently been eliminated?

Can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Personalisation tokens are showing and working fine for me on internal emails.

Hi Frank,

thanks so much for your quick response. Previously, we have worked with exactly the kind of tokens that appear on your screenshot. But now I do not see the token option any longer under the “insert” dropdown menue (see screenshot below - sorry only available in German). The HubSpot Helpdesk couldn´t tell me why this option isn´t visible any longer. As you can also see the former tokens still appear as variables (and not as icons as it used to be the case).

Do you have any idea what could be reason?

Okay that does seem rather strange.

Can you confirm what type of workflow you have created - contact or deal or something else, and what object personalisation tokens you want to include in the internal message?

I just tried a contact workflow from scratch and still see the personalisation tokes displayed as normal.

The one thing that is strange - since the changes to the WF tools a few weeks ago - that this isn’t done via the “insert” menu in the message but simply by searching in the “available data” tab which drops the personalisation token whereever your curser is in the body or subject line of the message. Bit of a step back in UX terms in my humble opinion.

Hi Frank,

thanks a lot for making me aware of this change. I hadn’t realized that the menu had shifted from the “Insert” drop-down menu to the new side bar. And the support team at HubSpot didn’t seem to be aware of this change either.
