Customizing Content Visibility on HubSpot Blog for SEO Optimization

Hello HubSpot Community,

We are using HubSpot for our blog pages. Our English blog site is hosted at site.com/blog, and our Japanese blog site is at Login | HSTS Redirection Community. Both blog pages are directly accessible from the navigation on our main website, site.com.

I have a question regarding the customization of content visibility for our Japanese blog:

1. Featured Articles: We would like to prominently showcase high-quality articles on the front end of the blog listing page so users can easily find them.

2. Hidden Articles: We also have some content that we don’t want to display on the front end but would like to retain for SEO purposes. These articles should not appear in the blog listing page but should remain accessible via their direct URL.

Does HubSpot’s blog system support these kinds of customizations? If so, what tools or settings should I use to make this happen?

I’d really appreciate any advice or recommendations!

Thanks in advance!

Hey @tw65

To customize featured and hidden articles in HubSpot’s blog system, follow these steps:

  • Use the RSS Listing Module to display featured articles by enabling the switch for featured images
  • Utilize the Post Filter Module to manage visibility by filtering articles by specific topics, tags, or authors.
  • Set the maximum number of posts for a specific filter to control visibility.
  • Adjust the list of values for filter links to decide which articles to hide or display.
