Hey HubSpot team… This request seems like one that is quite overdue. It comes up constantly when clients are moving to HubSpot.
Systems like Pipedrive allow for custom activity types, so when you don’t, the client loses some functionality and reporting capabilities. Custom Call and Meeting types are not sufficient because there are use cases where Tasks are mandatory, like if the activity is ‘open’ and requires a reminder.
