Customize the email editor

Hi folks,

I need to customize the email editor for a customer so they can’t see all of the “MODULES” and “LAYOUTS”. They should only see the “SAVED SECTIONS”. I can’t find any documentation on this. Is it possible that the editor can be freely configured? Does anyone have any experience in this direction? Any information is welcome!

Hi @Mainata,

This is not possible at this stage, unfortunately, at least not in the drag and drop email editor. It’s either full access to the email tool or nothing. If you want to limit what a user can edit, you’d have to create predefined email modules and custom coded email templates. This will give you more options to guide a HubSpot user in the email tool.

I’d agree that this would be a useful feature in the drag and drop editor. You could submit it to the product team in the HubSpot Ideas section of the community.
