I have 2 lists. List A and List B. List A displays a column entitled “Primary Associated Company ID” and shows the company associated with a contact.
Ive created list B with the same parameters for how to pull contacts in as list A. But in List B, this column is not listed.
Furthermore, when I go to edit the columns in either List A or List B. It does not how Primary Associated Company ID as an option to choose from, even when searching.
List B currently has the column for Contact → Company(Primary) selected, but this is not displaying the contacts primary company as inteded or the way that List A does effectively with Primary Associated Company ID.
Can anyone help me find this cutomized column or how to create a similar new custom column for List B?
Hi @RMobley,
Could you be a bit more specific about the part “not displaying as intended”? What are you expecting to see, what are you actually seeing when you select the Contact → Company (Primary) checkbox vs. the ID column?
Best regards
Hi @karstenkoehler ,
On List A, it shows the associated company that is in each contacts info. So the company name and logo. List B shows two dashes for the same exact contacts, represented as “--”, and shows no company name, logo, or anything besides the “--”.
Hope that clears it up, sorry for not being more clear!
@RMobley when testing this on my end, “Contact → Company (Primary)” reflects the hyperlinked company name along with the icon.
I can’t explain where the “Primary associated company” column comes from, this might be a legacy or bug. If you want to get to the bottom of it, I would say the best option would be to reach out to HubSpot support who can investigate directly in your portal, via chat or email in-app.
Best regards!
