# Customizable Default Note Association Settings

Currently, when a note is created on a **Contact** record, it automatically associates with related records, such as linked **Tickets**. However, when a note is created directly on a **Company** record, it does not automatically associate with that company’s linked Tickets, requiring manual association afterward.

I understand that this behavior is intended to keep notes relevant to the specific record being viewed, but it would be incredibly helpful if **Super Admins** could configure the **default association behavior** for notes. This would allow teams to customize note associations based on their workflow needs, reducing manual effort and ensuring key information is automatically linked where necessary.
