Hello everyone,
I have just landed here in HB. 😀I have a request from my colleagues in sales, to create a report of how many new customers have in the last 30 days compared to the total orders received in the same period.

Unfortunately, I am still studying but I am not able to create such a report.😖

Is there anyone who can help me?

Let me know

Elisa

Hi @ESalemme,

Happy to help here. After playing around bit, unfortunately, this does not seem to be possible within one report – the reason being that this would have to be a cross-object report for contacts (customers) and deals (orders); once contacts are filtered down by the date they became a customers, associated deals would, too, be filtered to only display those deals by contacts recently turning into customers.

You’ll have to create two reports.

The good news: You can place these two reports right next to each other on a dashboard for easy comparison. [How to Create, Clone, Delete, and Manage Dashboards in HubSpot](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/dashboards/manage-your-dashboards)

To create each report, follow the below steps:

- Navigate to _Menu_ \> _Reports_ \> _Reports_ \> _Create report_ \> _Single object_
- For the first report, select _Contacts_ (assuming that these represent your customers). Set _Filters_ (top left) to ‘Date entered ‘Customer’ is This entire month’. In the _Visualization_ tab, drag and drop _Count of Contacts_ and _Create date_ into the _Displaying_ area and choose a vertical bar chart as chart type. Save the report to a dashboard.
- For the second report, select _Deals_ (assuming that deals represent your orders). Set Filters to ‘Close date is This entire month’. In the _Visualization_ tab, drag and drop _Count of Deals_ and _Close date_ into the _Displaying_ area and choose a vertical bar chart as chart type. Save the report to a dashboard.

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
