Hey Devs,

as context Im trying to get a list of all existing records IDs of a custom object. I tried doing that by using the custom object search API and since it can only return 100 objects at once I have to send some 700 requests to get all records however I run into the secondly rate limit quite fast (after about 7 requests while trying in sandbox with only 1000 objects). On the documentation page it says this endpoint is exempt from the 10 second API call limit.

Is there a better approach to get all the existing obj IDs or other workaround I can use?

Im using the official nodejs API client framework

Hi Patrick,

For that many objects, I recommend considering the new Export API.
