# Custom Object in Sandbox?

Hi,

We have a standard sandbox set up and sync’d.

I was hoping to try a new idea for a Custom Object, but the nice big orange button “Create Custom Object” (that I see in my production account) is not visible in the sandbox.

Any ideas of what I’ve missed?

Hey, @PBaxter 👋 To clarify for anyone else that might search for the same info, for [HubSpot Sandbox Accounts](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account/set-up-a-hubspot-sandbox-account) you need to re-opt-in to any betas that were previously opted in on your production accounts. You’ll need to be a Super Admin, or have a Super Admin in your portal, re-add the beta to your Sandbox Account.

From the [knowledge base](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account/set-up-a-hubspot-sandbox-account#:~:text=Beta%20and%20trial%20features%20are%20not%20synced%20from%20your%20main%20account.%20You%20need%20to%20enroll%20a%20sandbox%20account%20in%20a%20beta%20in%20order%20to%20use%20those%20features.):

`Beta and trial features are not synced from your main account. You need to enroll a sandbox account in a beta in order to use those features.`

To opt in to this beta, here are the steps. You’ll need to look for the “Manage and Visualize Your Data Model” under the Early Access section of Product Updates:

1. Select Product updates from the dropdown menu

1. Select Early Access \> Betas

1. Select Manage and Visualize Your Data Model

In summary, Sandbox Accounts have to re-opt-in to any betas the production account is already a part of.
