I need to be able to customize when I get Hubspot’s notification that we are approaching our marketing contact tier limit. Right now it comes at 98%, which is typically too late. And with Hubspot’s billing structure that they total up all marketing contacts for the month rather than month’s end, you get moved to the higher tier anyway.
I’d rather get notified at either 90% or 95%.
HubSpot has quietly discontinued marketing contact limit notifications without telling anybody. If you have Marketing Enterprise, you can set up lists to send custom notifications using List Settings, Notifications, when the List Reaches a specific size. (Remember to check your notification settings so you actually get these, and when the notification triggers, you need to go back into the list and turn it back on.) If you have Marketing Pro or Starter, I think you’re out of luck on notifications and just need to check constantly (either in usage and limits or set up a custom report).
