We use a large number of custom objects, and it’s getting to the point where seeing the ‘custom object’ icon is getting a bit ugly for me. I would like the ability to provide a custom icon for these objects. I would be ok with being able to just select from a template/color selector, if that would be easier for HubSpot to implement. However, I think it would be much cooler to allow us to upload PNG/SVGs to our file manager and reference those in our Custom Object schema. ---

Would be really helpful for apps that use custom objects to create visual consistency and ease of finding across multiple portals ---

Yes! An upvote on this from me! I don’t like the box with the x first off, and second we have several custom objects so it makes the icons not as useful as they could be. Would love to be able to even just set different ones from a stock library of a few ---

Agree with this, we would like the ability to upload a custom icon for custom objects! Or even have other Hubspot provided icons to select to differentiate them ---

I’ve had the same need myself. On client’s with multiple CO of different purposes it’s really important to be able to tell them apart at a glance; even being able to apply the same logo as on company/contact record would be preferable to the sad cube. ---

+1 We need this. The icons would be so much better to improve visibility. Currently with simple text it’s all a mush so you have do a double take to find what you’re looking for. Icon would be helpful to navigate and find different objects easily at a glance. ---

Hi everyone, I’m Maggie, the PM for HubSpot’s custom objects. Thank you for taking the time to share this idea — we genuinely read and consider everything submitted here. After review, we don’t have plans to build this right now. This is actually something we find interesting, but we have higher-priority work in flight that we need to see through first. It’s on our radar for future consideration. That said, we revisit our roadmap regularly, and customer ideas like this one do influence what we prioritize.
