Hello,
I’m trying to build a custom email module, a footer, which has a fullwidth background color, but a centerd and boxed content block.

In the email module itself, it seems to work, that the footer background goes fullwidth (see screenshot).

But when I add this module to a “Drag-&Drop responsive Email teamplate” in the design manager, the module becomes boxed (see screenshots).

Is it possible, to make modules (especially footer or header, i.e. elements/modules on the edge of the email template) fullwidth within the design manager?

Hey @cbinger,

With DnD, instead of having the background on the _module_ you’ll want to put it on the _section_ the module is in. So you’ll hover over the section and click the Edit Layout icon:

 ![41407i5C6D526836ED7454.png](https://d2qpr2jzcazej7.cloudfront.net/original/3X/6/7/671934323f410f00279ae418a65bcf425b3bd775.png)

Then in the Layout settings that pop up you’ll choose **Full width** for your **Background type** and add the background color you want to the **Body color** field

OK @cbinger so for the _design manager_ Hubspot sets an 800px width on the #templateTable wrapper which is why your modules aren’t going full width. You’ll want to add a style block to set that to 100%. However, this makes the entire email go full width. If you want the body to remain at a set width you’ll need to also set styling on the #contentCell #contentTableOuter wrapper.

```lia-code-sample
<style data-hse-inline-css="true">
 #templateTable {
 width: 100% !important;
 }
 #contentCell #contentTableOuter {
 width: 800px !important;
 }
</style>
```
