When the HubSpot Notetaker joins a Zoom, Google Meet or Teams call, it always shows the default HubSpot image. We’d like to upload our own image, like a company logo or a branded avatar, for the bot.
Why it matters:
-
Brand consistency: Prospects and customers see the bot on every call we record. A branded image looks more professional than a third-party logo.
-
Trust and transparency: External guests sometimes don’t recognize a generic bot and ask who it is, or remove it from the call. A familiar logo tells them it belongs to our team.
-
Fits with other HubSpot branding: We can already brand our chat widget, emails and meeting links. The notetaker is the one customer-facing touchpoint we can’t brand.
Proposed solution:
- An image upload field in the Notetaker settings (PNG/JPG, square, e.g. 512×512).
- Set at the account level by Super Admins, with an optional per-user or per-team override.
- Fall back to the HubSpot default if nothing is uploaded.
- Ideally, also let us customize the bot’s display name alongside the image.
Who benefits: Sales, Customer Success and anyone using the Notetaker on external calls.
