# Custom Association Property

I have created a custom association to associate Contact and Company apart from using the default primary association defined by Hubspot. However, I have some concerns about that.  
Hubspot will automatically associate Contact and Company using email domain. And the internal id of the associated company will be stored in **associatedcompanyid.** Then which property holds my custom associated company id? I just can’t find it.

Hi @JerikaNguyen,

As you’re referencing the **associatedcompanyid** property I’m assuming you’ve got some dev chops.
