Cursor keeps jumping to the top when writing a note

Hi everyone,

we’re experiencing a strange issue when writing notes inside a contact record.

While typing, the cursor constantly jumps back to the beginning of the note (top of the text field), which makes it really difficult to write longer messages or log detailed information. This happens repeatedly, even if we click back to the end of the text.

Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix/workaround?

We’ve already tried different browsers and cleared cache, but it still occurs.

Could you confirm the following?

  • Are you using a supported browser? Browsers supported by HubSpot
  • Have you tried disabling all browser extensions to see if the issue persists (and rule out potential conflicts)?

We often see behavior like what you’re describing because of browser extensions users may have installed and running. Would you mind confirming the context in @karstenkoehler’s questions to see if they assist in the troubleshooting?

Hi Karsten,

Thanks for the follow-up. Looks like it’s working fine now. We’re using Google Chrome (supported), and the issue apparently came from the extension “Grammatik- und Rechtschreibprüfung – LanguageTool”. After disabling it, everything works as expected so far.
