Hi There,
Looking for current best practices
What’s the recommended way to export or print HubSpot data today (e.g., contact records or email threads)?
Trying to understand what people are actually doing in practice, whether it’s manual or if there are better workflows
Hey @FMG102,
Thanks for posting in the Community!
While we wait on others to chime in, I wanted to provide a couple of resources that you may find helpful!
-Export your content and data knowledge base article
-Export your records knowledge base article
-Download your CRM Community thread (a little older, but I still wanted to include it)
I hope this helps!

For contact records the most practical approach is exporting from a list or view. Filter your contacts, select all, hit export. HubSpot gives you CSV or XLS with whichever properties you pick. Thats the cleanest option for bulk data. For individual records there’s no native print button that formats well.
Most people either screenshot the record or use the Actions menu to export that specific contact. Email threads are the tricky one. HubSpot doesnt have a native export for the activity timeline. You can try these options :- copy manually from the activity feed, pull it from connected Gmail or Outlook where the emails also live, or use the API if you need it at scale.
I suggest the API route is the most reliable for bulk activity data since the native UI isnt really built for that use case.
