¿Cuál es un ejemplo del buyer's journey o recorrido del compra?

When buying necessary work clothing, for example

Brand: McDonald’s

  • Awareness stage: I’m hungry and need a quick, affordable, and nearby option.
  • Consideration stage: I compare fast-food alternatives and check promotions or the menu.
  • Decision stage: I choose McDonald’s for its speed, prices, promotions, and because I already know the quality of its products.

A good buyer’s journey always starts with understanding the customer’s problem first. Once they compare different solutions, they can confidently choose the option that best meets their needs. A clear journey builds trust and leads to better decisions.

A clear buyer’s journey helps businesses understand customer needs at every stage. Providing the right information during awareness, consideration, and decision makes it easier for buyers to choose with confidence.

At the company where I work, the customer journey revolves around the needs related to their pet and its various aspects.

Defining what type of pet it is.

The care required for it.

The different benefits of owning the pet.

The potential issues associated with each pet and how they affect the family.

Whether the pet is for a specific occasion or simply for companionship.

Proposing each aspect to be addressed, by listening to each person’s individual goals.

Presenting each product and service that is suitable for their purpose, which is caring for the pet.

In my case, it would be Apple. First, I identify the need to upgrade my device (awareness), then I compare models, prices, and reviews with other brands (consideration), and finally I choose Apple for its performance, ecosystem, and support (decision). A positive experience and clear information at each stage make my purchase easier.

Ricardo realizes that he will need to update each employee’s profile, including a health assessment.
Recognition: This would be his first time coordinating a health check-up day.
Consideration: He is looking for healthcare service providers.
Decision: Among the options, he finds that some offer to analyze health metrics to create a health map of his company, which is a distinctive feature compared to simply taking lab results and adding them to the file.

:bust_in_silhouette: Buyer persona: Camila, entrepreneur or small business owner in Colombia.

:magnifying_glass_tilted_left: Awareness Stage: She realizes she needs to attract more customers and raise awareness of her business, but doesn’t know where to start and has a limited budget.

 Consideration Stage: She explores options: paid advertising? social media? a website? She researches what’s available, compares prices and complexity.

:white_check_mark: Decision Stage: She chooses to start with digital marketing and free content because it seems accessible, useful, and fits her budget. She decides to trust someone who explains how to do it in a simple and honest way.

Brand: Coondor Mobility

  • Awareness Stage: Customer needs a motorcycle for work
  • Consideration Stage: We seek approved credit to purchase the motorcycle
  • Decision Stage: Customer takes out credit to buy the motorcycle.

I will take it into serious consideration and put it to the test.

An example of the Buyer’s Journey would be a person who wants to buy an iPhone. First, they identify a need—specifically, the need to replace their phone. Next, they consider different options: researching on social media, comparing models, prices, and features. Then, they make a purchase decision and choose the option that best meets their needs. After the purchase, good customer service and support can encourage them to buy again or recommend our company.

IT Client

Awareness: Wants to prospect and retain business partners.

Consideration: Seeks strategies to approach and maintain the loyalty of existing partners.

Decision: By differentiating my services, I address their needs in a personalized way to connect with new prospects and delight their active clients.
