We have a PDF brochure that we want to embed as a CTA to track clicks. When we use a HubSpot CTA, the setting to Open the link in a new tab does not do that; it opens up a popup. If someone’s using Safari, they may not see that the popup is blocked by default.
The HubSpot CTA button is below the map: https://www.whittierhealth.com/about-whittier-health-network/refer-a-patient/
Here’s what the Divi button module does (opens up in an actual new tab): https://www.whittierhealth.com/about-whittier-health-network/refertest/
Is there any way to keep people on the page and open it in a new tab rather than a popup? I know it seems like semantics, but it’s a real oversight by the HubSpot team--tab vs. popup--, and I’m not sure if anybody noticed it before or resolved this issue as I’m looking through these resources. It’s being escalated with their support team.
