The power of the Customer Agent continues to impress me. What would be great is if HubSpot provided a way to create a website landing page that allows me to drop in a form that then passes a custom question into the Customer Agent. The response to the custom agent can happen like it already does but I need a way to pass along an anonymous identity’s question from a web page to the custom agent. The reason is simple: anonymous browsers are much more inclined to submit or engage in a question in free-form text when they don’t have to identify themselves. It’s like a Google search interface, except that it passes that information directly to the customer agent, who will then provide the answer in the chat box. The question is: How can I create a form that will capture a non-anonymous end user’s information directly into the chatbot?
Really interesting idea.
I’ve also been thinking about a use case where a form submit triggers the Customer Agent to respond.
In general, I think there should be ways to invoke the Customer Agent based on a user’s action while passing that context into the agent.
Hey @ericjchoi,
Thanks for posting in the Community!
While I can definitely see the value in your idea, my only pushback is that users sometimes intentionally interact with landing pages or content because they don’t want to give their permission for anyone to be able to store their personal information. It sounds like this may be the case in your situation, for which I’d be curious to see what input others may have.

Hello @ericjchoi ,
A possible approach is to use a HubSpot form at step and capture visitor question through a free-text field. The HubSpot form can stay simple so that visitors can submit visitor question without needing to provide much information right away. The submitted visitor question can then pass through a workflow or integration to give the Customer Agent the context needed to generate a reply.
For visitors HubSpot can allow visitor question to be submitted without asking for visitor name or visitor email. If visitor later gives contact details HubSpot can link submission to contact record. For visitors who HubSpot already knows HubSpot form submission can link to existing visitor contact information.
Another option is to use a landing page that shows both HubSpot form and Customer Agent experience together. HubSpot form can collect visitor question while Customer Agent can handle follow-up interaction. This gives visitors a search-like experience while still letting business capture visitor question and track interaction, in HubSpot.
