Hi @ArisudanTiwari,
This content includes incorrect information and was potentially created with the help of AI tools.
It will not resolve the issue and might create more work and confusion for @SandrineMayzou.
I recommend fact-checking your content and using AI responsibly going forward.
You could check out the Community Guidelines too.
Thanks.

Hi @SandrineMayzou ,
Currently, HubSpot does not have a built-in feature to automatically populate the phone country indicator based on the “Country” property.
However, you can achieve this functionality using workflows or custom coding solutions. Here’s a step-by-step guide to set it up using workflows:
Access Workflows:
Log in to your HubSpot account and navigate to Automation > Workflows.
Create a New Workflow:
Add an Action:
Use the action to update the “Phone” property (or a custom field for phone indicators) with the appropriate country code.
Save and Activate:
Review the workflow and activate it once you’re satisfied.
Note: Ensure that the “Country” property is accurately and consistently populated for all contacts to avoid errors.
Please let me know if you have any questions. If this information helped solve your problem, feel free to mark it as a solution.
Hi BérangèreL,
How is this incorrect information?
We can create a customer phone country field as a dropdown option, including all countries’ phone codes based on their respective countries, and tag them via a workflow.
As mentioned in the note, the country property information must be accurate and associated with each contact or company for this to work effectively.
I used AI assistance to structure the sentence and ensure clarity, while also adhering to HubSpot community guidelines. Moving forward, I will review AI-generated suggestions more thoroughly to avoid similar misunderstandings in the future.
@ArisudanTiwari I stumbled upon this, too. Unless I’m mistaken, OP is referring to the country dropdown as part of the phone number. This cannot be set individually via workflow. Using an additional custom property for this is not helpful as that additional property will not be respected during calling.
Hi @karstenkoehler ,
As I mentioned earlier, HubSpot doesn’t have a built-in feature to automatically populate the phone country indicator based on the “Country” property.
However, it is possible to achieve this using a custom property and workflow. I understand that this is a lengthy process, but it will provide @SandrineMayzouwith the option to check the phone country code in the record view section.
For example, I’ve consolidated multiple phone numbers into one field option. Using the solution I mentioned, she can reach her goal. That said, there may be a better solution available, so if you or another expert can provide additional insights, it would be extremely helpful to her.
Personally, I can guide her through the process I’ve outlined and show her how to retrieve the code.
Hi @ArisudanTiwari,
Thank you for your post and for explaining the use of AI in this reply.
The one thing I noticed in your reply was the “phone country indicator”.
This is not a property. [Here are the default contact properties](https://CRM Contact Phone field: Auto fill phone country indicator based on Country).
If you do have a way to automatically update the phone indicator, can you please share the detailed steps for @SandrineMayzou to use, please?
Thank you for your help!

Hi @BérangèreL ,
I mentioned the phone country indicator custom property as an example; we can create this with any desired name.
First, we can set up a dropdown property to include all possible or targeted phone codes. Then, we can create a workflow to automatically update this field based on the country data.
@SandrineMayzou , let me know if this resolves your query. If not, I’ll provide additional details.
