I introduced a new deal stage CSQL as very first deal stage (afterwards we have SQL, Solution/Evaluation, Offer Sent and Closed Won). The aim of the CSQL Stage is to better handle upsell deals. Therefore, it is only relevant for upsells and not for new deals.
When opening the deal creation menu where all the mandatory fields are filled out, the deal stage was automatically filled with CSQL (as it is per se the first stage). I would like to display SQL here - I then set the settings in order that deals can only be created in SQL stage. This works for now, but the Customer Success Team which is the one using the CSQL stage needs to overwrite this which is only possible with super admin rights (= not ideal as not every user has those rights)
I do not want to create an additional pipeline, therefore the only option so far (verified with the Hubspot Support Team) is to create a workflow which automatically sets the stage to CSQL if specific users create a deal in SQL. It would be great to create a somehow optional deal stage for such cases which do not affect the existing processes.
