I want to create a new property similar to “Company owner” but this time for a selected group of users. How can I create a property with real users as values in order to use them on workflows, etc?

Hi @yfundora,

This would be possible using “[Custom owner properties](https://www.hubspot.com/product-updates/assign-objects-to-multiple-owners-using-custom-owner-properties)”. These properties allow you to select a value from a list of your hubspot users. They are created in exactly the same way as a regular custom property. You just need to ensure that during creation you set the “Field type” as “HubSpot user”. See a screenshot of this below:

Information on creating custom properties can be found [here](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/manage-your-properties#create-custom-properties). One thing to note with the above is that **it will only allow you to choose one user per property**. If you require additional users you will need to create additional properties.

I hope this helps!

Jack

Hi,
Related to this question. How can I filter the HubSpot user Field type, to only show users from a dedicated team? Or configure the order in which the users are shown?

Thanks!
