# Creating New Contacts Via Gmail Plugin

Previously when using the gmail plugin to log/track my emails, a person who was not a contact in Hubspot would automatically become one when an email was sent and logged/tracked. Over the past few days this has stopped happening and I have to manually enter in the contact into Hubspot. Any ideas on what has changed?

-1- Confirm that the ‘Log’ checkbox is ticked

-2- Confirm your HubSpot account is still connected. HubSpot icon will be

**ORANGE**

-3- Restart Chrome | Restart your computer
