Hi - I was wondering if anyone knows how to create a landing page on Hubspot to get people to sign-up for a newsletter? Ideally these people who signed up will be automatically added to a certain list.
@Mlho there are a few steps to take for creating a newsletter sign up landing page:
1 - create the form you want to use for the newsletter sign up
2 - create an active list that adds anyone who completes that form to the active list
3 - create a workflow to automate contact management (for example, set them to marketing contact so they’ll receive emails)
4 - choose a free theme (or buy a theme) from the marketplace that includes landing page templates
5 - create a landing page with the template, selecting your form that you created in step 1
6 - link your new landing page to relevant CTAs on your website to get people to sign up
Hi @Mlho,
Happy to help here and add to @Jnix284’s excellent advice.
- Create a landing page following these steps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YG0V8SqYkrg
- Create a form following these steps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5f4Nzg7ciw
- Create an active list of contacts who submit the form: Create segments
- Create your email and send it to the list: Create and send marketing emails
There are nuances to this, such as form consent settings. If you have any detailed questions, let me know.
Best regards
Thanks for adding all the links @karstenkoehler, I was thinking of this more like the process and not the technical aspect - as every step has a lot of steps involved, hopefully this helps @Mlho get started with building the LP!

Hi @Mlho
adding other suggestions here for you 'd
be to add pop-up forms into your current website or blogs.
Also Standard forms can also be displayed as pages when you use the share link, and this will save the time of creating a page (but of course this will depend on the metrics that you want to see later).
You can also take advantage of the forms automations to send a confirmation subscription email.
hope this helps
