Creating contacts from email body text

Hello!

I am looking for a way to create contacts in Hubspot from an email address connected to a lead generation form on an app marketplace. The flow is that leads submit their information in this form to contact us, and this data is sent to us via email to a dedicated inbox.

How can I retrieve their name, email, and telephone number from the email body and create a contact in Hubspot?

These are the only emails sent to that specific email address, and the body of the email is set in a very simple format, containing just this information.

If this is not an option, maybe you can help with other ways of connecting Hubspot directly to that form on the app marketplace.

Hi @Ana777,

Are you referring to the HubSpot app marketplace or a different one? Generally, HubSpot does not have any default functionalities to create a contact and read fields from incoming emails, no.

Best regards

Hi @karstenkoehler,

It is a different app marketplace and is not connected to Hubspot.

Would you happen to know any workaround to do that? Maybe through Zapier or another tool?

Thank you!

Is this possible in Zapier?
Thank you!

@Ana777 if the emails have all the same format you might be able to achieve this using custom code. You would need to have Ops Hub though. We did something similar for a customer but we used custom coded workflows.

I have the same issue, did you end up finding a workaround?
