Hi, Is it possible, via Hubspot or an add on to hubspot, to create a contract from a template and uploading it? I know you have an addon to HelloSign, but I do not wish to pay for an external service - and HelloSign is not what i am looking for. I simply need to generate a contract template and upload it to a contact or company in the Hubspot CRM. ---

Hi @Nanaki, At this time the HubSpot CRM/Sales does not have a feature that would work directly within the software to send/build/request signatures for contracts. You could however upload the document into the documents feature and insert it using a template requesting a signature in which they can email it back. When they email the signed copy back, that version would then be available automatically from their contact record. Otherwise, at least for now, you’d need another tool to accomplish this. Josh ---

Hi Josh, Please re-read my question - I do not mention signature do I? I asked for: 1. Contract creation (e.g. template) 2. Uploading a contract and connecting it to a company or contact. ---

Hi @Nanaki, Sorry for misunderstanding, you mentioned HelloSign so I assumed you were looking for complete functionality. The other part of my answer is still valid. If you create a contract template (which you cannot do in HubSpot -- you’d need a 3rd party tool), you can upload it and associate it with the appropriate contacts or companies within the CRM. Hi Nanaki, Completely agree, this needs to be fixed at a Company and Deal level. You are able to upload a file by creating a File custom property on the Contact Level, but contracts are not signed between people, but between entities (read Companies).
