I’m trying to create a new email preference center template that showcases certaiin “subscription types” based on contact status (i.e. customer) or list membership.
I have already reach out to HubSpot live chat support who provided me with the following answers:
“At the moment, we do not have a way to customize the subscription preference page. It will show all the subscriptions you have set up under subscription types”
Then, I asked if there’s any sort of workaround, via custom modules or other, and the response was:
“Unfortunately no, we do have a functionality on Marketing Enterprise where you can have different subscription pages for different business units, but we still can’t customize based on the contact status, for example”.
What I’m trying to clarify, is there conclusive really no workaround to this? For example, let’s consider the following points:
- A “Subscription preferences” template in HubSpot must use the “Subscription Preferences” default HubSpot module (if not, the template will not be publishable).
- This "Subscription Preferences" module will pull in all of the options set under the “subscrption types” tab.
Can we create a custom form, which upon submitting, will update a users preferences?
In order to update the same fields the "Subscription Preferences" module does, it would have to have the same name=“” attribute, which I’m pretty sure we won’t be able to clone / create a custom form property with the same name.
Is there any sort of workaround to get cetain contacts to see certain email preference options?
