# Creating a new contact

Hi there,  
Really enjoying hubspot, but have one small feature request, that it didn’t take 3 clicks to create a new contact, ideally a hot button at the top of the tabs called quick contact that is a single click - we create a lot of new records daily/weekly/monthly and 3 clicks each time soon adds up - anyone know if there are any plans to look at this?

Hi @CJAsha,

Other users have had [similar requests in the HubSpot Ideas section](https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Fast-contact-create/idi-p/380193) of the community. I’d recommend giving an upvote and commenting with your own requirements. The product team reviews these requests based on popularity.

Good News this was delivered TODAY. There’s a little Quick Create Plus (+) sign next to the Search Bar…you can use that to one-click add an item (Contact, Company, Deal, Ticket, Task) without navigating away from your current screen.
