Ok, I have 2 url’s (two different companies) and I’m wanting to use the same HubSpot account (in other words, I need the same contacts for both companies. Do I need to change the url in my HubSpot account to the “most used” url? The bottom line, I’m building forms, and I want to choose the url for the form, but I do not see the option. Thx! Kevin
Hi @KevinT,
From a purely technical standpoint, you can place HubSpot forms on any page by following these steps to set up a form for an external site. Take the embed code and place it on any page.
The Company domain under Settings > Account Defaults > Company information does not affect that. Forms themselves do not generate a URL (except from a preview URL) but are always embedded, either natively on a HubSpot page or on an external page.
If these two companies are two separate legal entities, you might want to check with a legal professional or your data protection officer if the text below the form, the consent notice and your privacy policy, need to account for that.
Best regards!
Hi @KevinT
To build form, you don’t need to change any URL. Just build a form and embed it on any page or share the link through emails.
Once you create a from, and you update it, you will get an embedded code and a sharebale link. Embed code you can use to embed form on your website and share link you can use to send through the emails. To get the form link and code: check this video here: https://www.loom.com/share/c3ef67a50c3e4d71a407d290eef3d6d0?focus_title=1&muted=1&from_recorder=1
Hope this helps!
