Creating a contract with HubSpot and Make.com

Hi,
Anyone using make.com and hubspot for contracts?
I want the customer to receive a contract as soon as i add him as a company.
I am interested to create a final part in a flow that i already have.
So in this moment i have:
- creating a client in hubspot

- in make.com i have :
- a watch to get the new client details

- going to google drive and grabbing a base template

- filling it with customer details

- uploading back to google drive

What i did not figure out how to do it, as i have the customer id, how can i push the file back to the company as attachment?

Hi @BPB

Nice to meet you!
I know you want to create this workflow in Make, but if you’re willing to look at other options we have a document automation app for HubSpot called Portant. It will enable the workflow you described (including saving the document links back to HubSpot and eSigning too - if you want) and we also allow you to use Google Docs or Slides as templates. I made a short 60s video about it here:

The only difference is that we only automate based on deal stage (or via HubSpot workflows, but that looks like it isn’t an option because you’re on a free plan). Do you think you could set up your workflow so it automatically created a deal?

If that looks helpful, we have some docs to help you get started: HubSpot | Portant Docs but if you need any additional help, please feel to book a call here: Calendly
Cheers,
James - CEO @ Portant

Hi, thanks but i want to use Make.com not alternatives

no problem :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi
If you have a customer ID you can find the associated company ID via List Associations module in Make. Then you can Update Company with a link to the doc in a custom property.
More complicated approach:
For attaching you can Upload a File to Hubspot file manager, then use API calls using Engagement API 2026-03 API reference - HubSpot docs
