Creating a checklist which can be marked off as a list

How to create a property that can function as a checklist, in which the non-checked and checked items always will stay visually presented as a checklist, instead of the current multiselct property type which only will summize the checked options?

Hi @JJonker,

There is currently no such feature in HubSpot. The property types that you can find here cannot be configured further to have different display behavior: Understand property field types in HubSpot

You could request that this display behavior is changed in the HubSpot Ideas section of the community, reviewed by the product team: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/idb-p/HubSpot_Ideas

Best regards!

Followup question on the above; is it then possible to create a standard ‘text’ property, with an overwritable default text in it?

@JJonker you would use a multi-line text property for that. There isn’t way to set a default text within such a property in the property settings.

But, using a workflow, you could simply enroll all records who have no value in this field (“is unknown”), then use “Edit record” to set your default value.

I’m curious, what is the use case for this? Is this related to deal stage exit criteria?

Using tickets for receiving, processing customer complaints, which, for example, could also be QA-related quality complaints. If so, certain standard checks need to be done, as a standard process. Then standardized checklists are one of the tools used to enforce a standardized way of handling things, and I would like to implement that right in the ticket setup.

@JJonker have you considered using playbooks for this purpose? Use playbooks

No not yet, but it could potentially be useful in this context. However, my company is not on the required license level to make use of the playbooks functionality.
