Create sets of predetermined line items for users to select

It would be useful to be able to create sets of predetermined line items that could be selected by end users when entering deals, a bit like bills of materials.

For example: if when doing a deal for service ABC we know it is always going to contain products Z, Y, X and W.

The idea would be for the user to be able to select a set of products that would automatically add 4 line items, one for each product (with the user being able to edit quantities etc) instead of having to manually select each product separately.

Users will gain in efficiency and it will reduce the risk of mistakes (with the correct products always selected).

Another solution would to drive line item creation based on property info. I’d like to have my users tell me what package a customer is buying via property in a deal then a workflow would run in the background to create line items on the deal based on what I setup in the workflow. This could help with bundling products and applying promos.
