Our deals are often managed by 2 sales so we use the HubSpot native property deal owner and we set up a customer property deal owner on deals. Currently, if we set up sales goals it only takes into account the deals for the native deal owner and not the custom deal owner.
It would be great to have the possibility to set up sales goals for custom properties “deal owners” so that we can keep track of goals for our 2 sales

Similar use case just popped up on one of my accounts. There is a Sales team and a BDM team, the sales team use the default Deal Owner property and the BDM team use a custom HS owner property.
We can’t create a goal for the BDM team, as there is no option to define the property used in the goal’s creation.
A very ugly workaround would be to create a custom object and have workflows that create/update new records that are owned by BDM, then build a goal for that custom object instead.
Same - the current setup is only created for just 1 deal owner which is very limited. We also need visibility into our BDRs influencing deal creation which is currently not possible as they are never deal owner. So it would be very needed if the deal creation settings are more advanced.

To allow Goals on any Custom property.
We created several for Marketing has have channels that are unqiue to use. We want to be able to do month/month and year/year goal setting and forecasting on this and several others.
Goals have improved greatly, however, this feels like the next logical step
We have a customer success team that manages renewals using deals and they are assigned as the “Customer Success Owner” (custom user property) while the sales rep is the “Deal Owner”. We need to be able to assign custom goals to the ‘Customer Success Owner’ for their renewal targets.
Running into this issue trying to support goals for multiple individuals, for the same company record. Our Sales Reps (company owner) have their own ownership and goals to reach with said customer, and our onboarding specialists have their own ownership and goals. This limitation is breaking my ability to use native goals and instead, I’m left with no other option than to build ANOTHER bandaid solution using various assets (one being custom reports).
