Currently we have Sales Pipelines set up. When Closed Won a CS deal card is created in Onboarding Pipeline to allow CSMs to onboard our clients.
However one company may have two or. three different closed won deals and so this would create multiple deal cards in Onboarding. This is not an issue for onboarding as its needed.
HOWEVER
We also want to set up Quarterly Business Reviews based per company only and not per deal card. So I am looking at once a new deal comes in if the company name is new then a Card would be created in a Pipeline called QBR (Deal stage - New QBRs).
I have a few questions:
How can I set the workflow to ONLY create this deal card in QBR pipeline if there is no other company card created?
We have a CSM property in the onboarding pipeline deal card but I dont seem to be able to copy this over for some reason
Hello, @OllyLD, thank you for posting in our Community!
I would recommend starting using a combination of workflows and custom properties. Create a workflow that triggers when a new deal is created. Use an IF/THEN branch to check if there’s already a deal associated with the same company. If not, proceed to create a new deal in the QBR pipeline.
You can use the “Create a deal” action in the workflow to achieve this.
Hey there @OllyLD. I agree with @PamCotton on the first go-round at a solution.
I also have a thought on your set-up. I think of Deals and their pipelines as a revenue object. We measure revenue in that part of HubSpot and report on closed deals and what the company is making on them, right? Are these onboarding “deals” revenue-focused? Or would it be a better situation to use HubSpot’s Ticket pipelines for things like onboarding and QBRs?
This way you could create a Ticket much in the way Pam mentioned, and see the associated Ticket for a Company and its relevant Deal rather than see multiple Deals.
