I have a ticket based workflow that creates a googlesheet row in a sheet from filters of tickets, but instead of adding them at the bottom of the sheet, it adds a new row at the top, disrupting the entire sheet. It used to work well, but all of a sudden it started with this behavior. I have checked that the top rows are not empty, how can I solve this?
Thanks
Regards
To address the issue of new rows being added at the top of the Google Sheet instead of at the bottom as expected in your ticket-based workflow, you can try the following steps:
1. Check the configuration of your workflow to ensure that the action to add a new row is set to append at the bottom of the sheet.
2. Verify that there are no hidden or filtered rows at the bottom of the sheet that might be causing the new rows to be added at the top.
3. Review any recent changes or updates in the workflow or integration that might have caused this behavior to start unexpectedly.
4. Consider refreshing the connection or reconfiguring the workflow to see if that resolves the issue.
If the problem persists, reaching out to the support team of the tool or service you are using for this workflow can provide further assistance in troubleshooting and resolving the unexpected row addition behavior.
Was this ever resolved? My workflow is doing the same thing - and there is no place to edit the “add google sheet row” configuration mentioned in this post. I have an existing workflow that uses the same step and adds correctly to a different tab in the same sheet? I have no clue why its doing this.
Hi @SCard,
Thank you for posting to the Community!
I’d like to tag in @Shubham_Sharma since they were able to provide the Accepted Solution of this thread. Hi @Shubham_Sharma Do you have any ideas for @SCard?

Hi! Just following up on this - it looks like the accepted solution never answered the followup questions - and this is still unanswered. Would love any advice, as my workflow is still adding to the top of the google sheet.
No! And i’m still having this problem daily. It functions properly in old workflows that I am trying to phase out - but my new workflows are all adding to the top of the sheet and disrupting my sheet.
Dang! I’m trying out freezing the top row and it seeeeeems to be working.. for now. But, I’ll let you know if it breaks again or if maybe it could be a solution!
