@TaniaBagga Could you please share form access?
Apologies about access challeneges! I just updated permissions to the google form. Let me know if you are still unable to access the Google Form.
Hello! Thank you to everyone that volunteered to participate in the Attachments Beta. We have now enabled the new attachments functionality for all those that expressed an interest. With this Beta, we give users a robust file management system on records. You can now:
- Bubble up the files you care most about by sorting, searching and filtering your attachments.
- Rename your attachments and take bulk file actions such as download and delete.
- View a lot of the file metadata that was previously unavailable to you such as upload date, source and file type.
We look forward to getting your feedback via a Customer Satisfaction survey that will pop up when you interact with the new attachments card. As always, we love customer feedback and use that to inform future product direction so please keep that feedback coming!
How do I find if I have access to this?
Hello! Thank you to everyone who shared feedback and volunteered to participate in the Attachments Beta. Updating the status of this idea to “Delivered” as we already introduced the new attachments functionality in April 2024. You can now:
- Bubble up the files you care most about by sorting, searching and filtering your attachments.
- Rename your attachments and take bulk file actions such as download and delete.
- View a lot of the file metadata that was previously unavailable to you such as upload date, source and file type.
As always, we love customer feedback and use that to inform future product direction so please keep that feedback coming! I recommend spinning up a new ideas forum thread for any newer ideas for easier trackability.
AMAZING!!
Thank you very much for adding this capability - we are interested in
signature capability - any thoughts??
Best wishes
Charles
It still doesn’t address my request. You should be able to create folders and organize the attachments for a contact. It’s just a big jumbled mess now with only filters for type and source. I like the search box, but still doesn’t organize the attachments like other common file storage options.
What’s been delivered does not address the original request or my needs. The original request asks for the ability to organize or tag attachments based on category (e.g., contract, compliance). Without manually renaming every pertinent file to include keywords like “Contract” or “Compliance,” it is not possible to see all attachments by category with the current implementation. I’ve signed up for user interviews for this feature to discuss my needs but never received a response. Very disappointed to see something completely different delivered that does not meet specified user needs.
The deleivered solution does not address the actual request. Why is hubspot lacking in this feature. So silly.
The improvements to the attachments are helpful, but I’ve added an upvote to the original request. It would be a big improvement if you could organized attachments via files.
Reading through this thread and it appears there is a BETA that went live in October '24 for file attachment organization but I’m not seeing anything on the DEAL/COMPANY or CONTACT records that offers this functionality. Is this something we need to update in the settings? Also, any update on the multi-year old requests for folders in the file/Attachment area? Thank you!
This is becomming redicualus with Hubspot All you are doing is incraesing prices for the substrictions with no resolve for very basic coding requests.
When are you going to do this or just say NO we are not
@LRosenbloom @TaniaBagga - The functionality you have introduced does not address the initial request here. How can this idea be recategorized so it’s still open?
Hello we would like to ask why we cannot add attachments to emails… is
this going to be added to the functionality soon?
Thanks
Hi there,
It is great to see how many new features are added to Hubspot each month.
But please please please can you implement Attachment folders?
Can you tell us where this now sits on the priority list? I see it was originally raised in 2019 and it is a pain-point for a lot of people since then.
Thanks!
Dermot.
Bubbling this idea up in 2026! Looking to add folder management in the attachments bar (right-hand side) in contact/deals. Uploading attachments feels chaotic and messy when we are dealing with multiple documents. Is this something being looked at for future testing? I noticed a beta went live in 2024, but it didn’t address the main issue this thread was trying to address.
I’d like to get an update so we can see progress on an issue that has existed for about 7 years now.
Do you know if we need to start a new thread? Or do you think this is still a viable place to seek feedback?
Thank you!
Bumping this as I have Enterprise clients that have asked for this specifically.
As of the latest replies here there’s still no native folder structure in the Attachments card, so the workarounds that hold up best are: custom file properties per document type (Contract, Compliance, ID) so each has its own labeled slot, or one cloud folder per record, linked to the record. HubSpot’s own Google Drive and SharePoint/OneDrive apps can now create a folder from a workflow and attach it to the record, which gives you real subfolders. If your team is on Box, that’s the gap we built Box Connector for. I’m the founder of SparkGrid, which makes it: the record’s Box folder, subfolders included, shows on the contact or deal, and workflow actions can build the folder structure automatically. Files stay in Box, so your Box permissions still apply. HubSpot Marketplace
