# Create email using api with external content

I need to create email(ideally based on custom template) with latest news from our website.  
I created email using /marketing-emails/v1/emails/ api but I do not see how I can add or change email content?  
What is the best approach to do this?

- [Update a marketing email](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/marketing/marketing-email) `PATCH /marketing/v3/emails/{emailId}`

**To create the email**
