Create Deal Workflow - company name field issus

Hello,

I had created a workflow that automatically creates a deal after an offer is sent to a contact. But I realised that I can’t create this workflow efficiently as the “company name” field, that I want to be added in the name of the deal, is being taken from the contact field, not the company field.

I’ve added the company name field within the forms so it’s sincronized in the company field as I saw you can’t search after the company in the search bar because of the “company name field” that is on contact.

So is there any workaround on this? I don’t get it why do have 2 fields with the same thing “company name”. Is there a way I can add the company name field from Companies so I can solve 2 problems:

- deal creation

- searching for companies in the search bar

I’ve been trying to add the company name by filtering on company but I am not sure if I did this correctly.

Hi @IuliaArtean ,

What you are doing in that last screenshot is correct. It will now pull in the Company Name from the Company record instead of the contact.
