Hi,

I am wondering how I can get a contact created once a user submits a form on my website. I can have the form email the information to hubspot, I just don’t know if there is a custom email I need to use or any other details.

Hi @TCodreanu,

The by far easiest option would be to use a HubSpot form: [Create and customize forms](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/forms/create-and-edit-forms)

If that’s not an option, there’s the forms API: [Accounts Dashboard | HubSpot](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api-reference/legacy/forms-v3-legacy/post-submissions-v3-integration-submit-portalId-formGuid)

Lastly, there are always Zapier, Make, n8n and the likes.

Best regards!

Ok, but would that create a contact property or a form under the marketing tab? I am trying to create a property from my website form

@TCodreanu no, it wouldn’t. Here too, it would be easiest through the UI: [Create and edit properties](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/properties/create-and-edit-properties)

If you must do it from outside of HubSpot, there’s the CRM API Properties endpoint.
