# Create a Template From Email

It would be awesome if we could create a template from an email that we are sending in Hubspot or our email (through the Gmail or Outlook extension) - Sometimes you write a gold email and want to easily save it without having to copy and paste and open a new window as well.

This functionality used to exist in HubSpot, I’m not sure when it went away. I believe it would prompt you to save a template if you used the copy/paste function in an email, and also if you finished writing an email, it would ask if you wanted to create a template. Maybe it was annoying to some, but just like the follow-up task checkbox, it would be nice if HubSpot would have an option to “create template from email” and even nicer if it could help recognize suggestions for personalization tokens.
