Create a property to tag files so they are easily searchable

It would be really great if there was a way to tag files that are uploaded into HubSpot so that they are more easily searched. We have a lot of files that could be categorized under multiple business segments, so having the files be searchable by more than one category would be really helpful.

Thanks for suggesting this improvement and agree it would be a tremendous help. The folder structure is good for “either-or” categorization, but tags or a similar labeling system would provide more flexibility.

We would love to see file tagging implemented. This would support finding files faster, organizing them more flexibly than in a traditional folder hierarchy structure, and better content management.

For example, we have lots of images for our website. Some are logos, some are assets like backgrounds and visual elements, some are co-branding assets, some are for blogs, some are for product pages, etc. Tags would allow us to categorize by type AND purpose, rather than segmenting these into folders and losing the flexibility of seeing everything all in one place with tags indicating type of image and purpose.
