When I create a contact and enter the name, email, etc., how do I select the list it belongs to? Or, from the list page, how can enter in new contacts to the list directly. By entering it into the general contacts list, I will lose them amid all the others and not be able to add it to the list.

Hi @versify

Lists in HubSpot work a bit differently to other systems, like Mailchimp for example.

A HubSpot list is a view (either static or dynamic) on a segment of contacts in the main database.

After you manually create a contact, if you tick the box next to their name in the contacts view and then select more, you will have the option to add them to a static list.

Hope this helps.
