Hey, @jackey-jackey 👋 Thanks for posting! Can you share an example request body, please? It will help in trying to reproduce the error.

Thanks! — Jaycee

Because I’m worried about data leakage, I have encrypted the channel\_id and InboxId. If you need the exact IDs, can we contact each other via email?

- Method: POST

- ChannelId: 7465xx

- InboxId: 21916xx

- DeliveryIdentifier: {“type”: “string”, “value”: “[Kun.Jing@advyzon.com](mailto:Kun.Jing@advyzon.com)”}

- URL: fhttps://api.hubapi.com/conversations/v3/custom-channels/7465xx/channel-accounts
- payload = {
“authorized”: True,
“name”: “jackey-channel”,
“deliveryIdentifier”: {“type”: “string”, “value”: “[Kun.Jing@advyzon.com](mailto:Kun.Jing@advyzon.com)”},
“inboxId”: 21916xx
}

In case anyone else comes across this post, two things to verify are:

- your account subscription (these endpoints are limited to [Sales Hub — Enterprise and Service Hub — Enterprise](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/guides/api/conversations/create-custom-channels#:~:text=products%20or%20higher.-,Sales%20Hub,Enterprise,-You%20can%20create))

- these endpoints require you to use a [Developer API key](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/guides/api/conversations/create-custom-channels#:~:text=using%20your%20HubSpot%20Developer%20API%20Key%2C%20and%20your%20App%20ID%20of%20the%20app%20you%20just%20created) and not the typical OAuth or Private App auth methods

Best,

Jaycee
